Tortoise Capital Resources Corp. (NYSE: TTO) is an energy infrastructure asset financing company that seeks to provide capital to pipeline, storage and power transmission operators by acquiring or financing the development of real property assets, which will qualify for Real Estate Investment Trust ownership. TTO’s portfolio includes companies and real assets with long-term, stable cash flows, limited commodity price sensitivity, and growth opportunities.

TTO is managed by Corridor InfraTrust Management, and the Company’s securities portfolio is advised by Tortoise Capital Advisors, with the intent of liquidating the securities portfolio in an orderly manner when appropriate.

On June 30,2011 TTO acquired a 40 percent undivided interest in the Eastern Interconnect Project, transmission assets that move electric power across New Mexico between Albuquerque and Clovis. The physical assets include 216 miles of 345 kilovolt transmission lines, towers, easement rights, converters and other grid support components. The project is leased on a triple net basis to the Public Service Company of New Mexico, an independent electric utility company serving approximately 500,000 customres in New Mexico. The Public Service Company of New Mexico is a subsidiary of PNM Resources (NYSE: PNM).
